Other influencers and Final Pieces

                                                              Catherine Yass.

Looking at the works of artist Catherine Yass, she is known for her work by using bright colours and photography work. Her works include a combination of the negatives and positives, for example, she’s known best for distinctive photography. Catherine manipulates her subject matter by overlaying the positive from a negative form.

From the photographs of her works that I have seen, that she has taken relates to the final images as light boxes film and Prints. She also takes photographs of the same subject, moments apart by combining the images with a structure within red and blue colours which makes the image seems like richer paintwork.

The work encourages assent of dissent and speeds for disorientating slowness. She manipulates images by using analogue photography techniques. Her colour structured illuminate her images which shows a sense of coldness. I found Catherine’s work is interesting and I feel that her work relates to mine because my work is similar to hers, for example Investing my digital work into the dark mode, the opposite side.

My work and Catherine are simmer, were Catherine take the Photographs and manipulates it, I create the painting and different kinds of images that I take photographs with my digital camera and inverse them using modern technology.

                                                                     Lee Krasner.

looking at the works of Lee Krasner with ink on paper mixed media collage and oil on canvas, she makes large scale work which could be characterised by a sensuous painting style. Collages are often formed from the artist own cut-out and paintings drawings are work reflects feelings and possibilities.

She does energetic charcoal life drawings large-scale abstract paintings and she was determined to find new ways to capture inner experiences. She worked with and scratch canvas fit to the wall, she also works with biomorphic forms and colours. She was highly skilled in treating anatomical current figures, she worked in an advanced style of Cubism so known as Neil Cubism oil on paper colour studies of still life settings.

Krasner tends to through our fragmentation of the form and the opposition of light and dark colours. My work relates to Krasner work in the way of abstract, vibrant colours and scale. I am very much inspired by Krasner work and techniques.
